James Marvell
In the late 60s, James Marvell was a member of the Warner Brothers' solid gold band Mercy. Their classic "Love Can Make You Happy" topped Billboard with Elvis, Sinatra and the Beatles! Then in the early 70s Marvell formed the trendsetting Country Outlaw duo Country Cavaleers with his teenage music friend Buddy Good. They wound up on MGM Records booked on shows with such greats as Conway & Loretta, Mel Tillis, Faron Young, Bobby G. Rice and other country stars. Today in 2018, Marvell is still grateful for his fans, and radio stations like Outlaw Country Radio 102.7 FM still airing his hits and new releases.
